Here's one of my first concepts for Wasteland 2, currently in works at inXile Entertainment. Description goes like this: "These mad little guys wear bandoliers of mini-nuke grenades and if provoked, will charge shouting "To Titan!" before self-detonating." Beware!

Himalaya Monastery Matte Painting

This is a matte painting I did for a tv series (Lasko). The producers wanted the building (Taktsang monastery in Buthan) to be covered in snow. Further the steepness of the site should be adressed by replacing the rather rolling hills in the background by an sharp-edged mountainside I took fom a alpine picture.

These are soome character concepts for an animated imagefilm. I was told to do 2 rather realistic looking dudes and two more cartoonish alternative versions of them. I'm curious what style they will go for.

MADE Symposium Pencils

Exactly one year ago I attended the MADE Symposium hosted by Marko Djurdjewic's SIXMOREVODKA Studio. It has been a very inspiring and instructive event. More of that please!

Football Mascot

This was a concept for a football macot for the 2010 Football WM in South Africa. As you may know, it didn't evolve out of concept-stage ;) The idea was a little critter (like "Scrat" from Ice Age) which is obsessed with protecting/hiding his very own football.









Here's the marquette that was made. cool stuff!

Nintendo DS Colors!

Today I updated my Nintendo Colors! Gallery. The DS is just so much fun. Unfortunately it comes with 2 major drawbacks: the screens are very small, and it is allmost useless in bright daylight because of the highly reflective touchscreen :( But unless there's no pressure sensitive iPhone/iPod touch, this is the ultimate portable digital paint device.
